Filling Pieces as a synonym for modern luxury and a movement breaking boundaries between styles

The brand Filling Pieces represents a true rarity in the offering of Queens, having been one of the first to define the now highly popular segment of “luxury streetwear.” This Amsterdam-based brand was founded with a clear vision: to fill a gap in the market and offer premium sneakers that blend high fashion aesthetics with the vigor of the street, all while maintaining relative accessibility. Filling Pieces is not just a fashion brand; it is a cultural movement that challenges established norms and connects people from diverse backgrounds and social strata through innovation and diversity.

From Low Top models to judging panels: The history and vision of Guillaume Philibert

The history of the brand began over a decade ago under the leadership of founder Guillaume Philibert. His architectural education and passion for design were the foundations of the iconic Low Top model. This silhouette, characterized by its distinctive elongated tongue, became a symbol of creativity and an instant hit that opened doors for the brand into the most prestigious boutiques in the world. Philibert's vision and talent transcend the boundaries of footwear, as evidenced by his role as a judge on Holland's Next Top Model 2022, where he sought out a new generation of talent alongside personalities like Yolanda Hadid.

At Queens, we value this brand for its uncompromising approach to craftsmanship. While the design is created in the creative heart of Amsterdam, production takes place in Portugal, where skilled artisans work with the finest Italian leathers and textiles. This emphasis on “hand-made” quality ensures that every product – whether shoes, clothing, or accessories – carries a touch of luxury that you can appreciate with every touch and step at the age of thirty-five.

Architectural lines and ethics in every detail

What we most highlight about Filling Pieces products is their ability to bridge the gap between formal and informal style. In our selection, you will find pieces that will become the focal point of your wardrobe:

• Iconic footwear with architectural elements: Models that offer unparalleled stability and style thanks to their clean lines and unique soles (often developed in collaboration with experts from Vibram).

• Premium Ready-to-Wear collections: Clothing that utilizes high-end materials and cuts, embodying the brand's ethos – innovation without borders.

• Emphasis on diversity and inclusion: Filling Pieces actively supports community projects and diversity, making it a brand with a clear stance on the modern world.

• Quality accessories and eyewear: An expansion of the portfolio with pieces that complement Guillaume Philibert's holistic vision of modern urban luxury.

Within the offering of Queens, we recommend combining Filling Pieces with minimalist pieces to highlight the unique texture and silhouette of these products. It is an investment in fashion that inspires and challenges the status quo. Choose your pair at Queens and become part of a movement that teaches the world that luxury and the street belong together.
