Geox Ottavio

Geox: Revolution in breathability and Italian attention to detail without compromise

The brand Geox represents a unique blend of fashion and science within the offering of Queens. This Italian brand is not solely about aesthetics; it embodies technological engineering that has fundamentally transformed the perception of comfort in footwear. Geox defines the category of functional urban footwear, which, thanks to its world-renowned patents, addresses the natural thermoregulation of the foot. Today, it is sought after by customers who, at thirty-five, no longer wish to compromise between refined Italian design and the health of their feet, whether they spend their day in the office, on the go, or navigating the streets of the metropolis.

From the Nevada desert to a global patent: The history of the brand

The history of the brand began in 1995, when founder Mario Moretti Polegato, during a trip to the USA, came up with a radical solution to the discomfort caused by overheating feet. His idea to perforate the sole for better ventilation became the foundation for the revolutionary breathable sole patent. This technology employs a special membrane with micropores that are smaller than a drop of water but larger than a water vapor molecule. The result is a shoe that allows moisture to escape from the interior while preventing water from entering. This discovery catapulted Geox among global leaders in innovation and made the Italian brand synonymous with technological comfort.

What makes Geox truly exceptional is its ability to implement these complex technologies into silhouettes that retain their elegance. Over the years, the brand has collaborated with icons such as actor Patrick Dempsey and visionary designer Ernesto Esposito, confirming that functional footwear can also be a highly fashionable affair. For women seeking sophisticated footwear, Geox offers the perfect combination of ergonomics, quality materials, and Italian attention to detail.
